Contessa is very well maintained and had a refit end of 2019, early 2020 with a full new paint job, new non-skid decks, extended upper deck with additional lounging area. Double stairs lead from the swim platform up to the ample aft deck complete with custom, hand made table , which is perfect for outside dining for up to 12 guests. The salon has a large open plan, affording plenty of seating for family and friends. Two crescent shaped sofas face each other in fine white leather which off set the impressive cherry wood interior and brand new carpet. Beyond the living area is a U shaped dinette across from the formal dining area for eight. A new curved 55 inch screen HD TV has been added recently with satellite TV, so you catch up on the game, while out at sea. Satellite phone. New Fusion speakers throughout ensure your music sounds optimum. The galley is well outfitted with stainless steel appliances, two convection ovens, dish-washer & two freezers. Forward on the lower deck are three staterooms all with their own bathrooms. The master is full beam and has a queen bed, walk-in closet and large shower. The two forward staterooms have twin beds & own bathrooms with shower. The VIP is situated aft and is also full beam with a queen bed & own bathroom with shower. There is a comfortable sunbathing area on the bow. The large upper deck has plenty of shade and is accessed by twin curved stairs from the aft deck – this is the place where people naturally migrate to as it affords a nice breeze and place to congregate. The vessel has four stand up paddle boards, two personal sea scooters and snorkel gear. Fishing aboard Contessa is stand up style with fighting belts and harnesses with her high gunwale making her ideal for this type of fishing, along with complete walk-around. Outriggers and a nice selection of tackle are aboard - ideal for light fishing.

This is the ideal vessel for day trips and she is absolutely perfect for overnight and week trips on the Sea of Cortez. Captain Jose Munoz, speaks great English has spent his whole life on the ocean. He makes you feel totally welcome and at home. very pleasant, going out of his way to make sure your group enjoys their time aboard Contessa while at the same time making sure everybody is safe. Deckhand Jose Luis and Ricardo are extremely hard workers; they prides himself on an impeccable vessel. Extra guests: The maximum number of guests is shown on the booking pages however please ask us if you would like to book a specific boat but invite more guests as this can often be accomodated. There is a small charge per each additional person. (Excludes our 28ft and 31ft boats which only have fixed guest numbers).
